Astronomy in the information era

  • 摘要: 21世纪的天文学步入大数据时代和信息时代,呈现出了新面貌。天文学的起源问题和面临的信息科学问题仍是天文学家亟待解决的难题。尽管科学家们已经取得了一些成果,但在新的形势下,还需用人工智能方法武装头脑,与其他领域的专家或企业合作,培养和造就面向大数据的新一代人才,共同谱写天文学的华丽篇章。

     

    Abstract: In the 21st century, astronomy steps into the era of big data and information science, and takes on a new look. The questions about the origin of the universe and how to relate to information science are issues yet to be solved for astronomers. Although some achievements have been made, in this new age astronomers need to understand artificial intelligence and cooperate with experts from other fields or enterprises, and foster a new big-data oriented generation to compose together the beautiful chapters of astronomy.
