深紫外非线性光学晶体KBe2BO3F2的研究进展

Progress review of the deep-UV nonlinear optical crystal——KBe2BO3F2

  • 摘要: 文章以KBe2BO3F2(KBBF)晶体为代表,系统地介绍了中国深紫外非线性光学晶体的发展。首先简单回顾了KBBF晶体的发现历程,然后介绍了KBBF晶体生长、棱镜耦合器件技术的发展,以及晶体产生深紫外相干光的能力;最后简单介绍了基于KBBF晶体的深紫外相干光源在超高分辨率光电子能谱仪等先进科学仪器方面的应用及研究成果,并展望了未来可能的应用领域。

     

    Abstract: The development of deep-UV nonlinear optical crystals in China is reviewed,with a focus on KBe2BO3F2 (KBBF). Its discovery, crystal growth, prism-coupled device technology,and capability for producing deep-UV coherent emission are discussed. Finally, we describe the fruitful applications of deep-UV lasers based on KBBF in advanced scientific instruments such as ultrahigh resolution photoelectron spectrometers, and present an outlook of further potential application fields in the future.
