漫谈熵

On entropy

  • 摘要: 熵是物理中的一个既重要又微妙的概念。文章从物理学引入熵谈起,依次讨论熵与热力学第二定律、熵的统计力学定义、熵增与基础物理理论的矛盾,以及时间箭头与玻尔兹曼大脑,最后介绍著名的黑洞熵。

     

    Abstract: Entropy is both an important and a subtle concept in physics. Beginning with its introduction into physics, we discuss entropy and the second law of thermodynamics, its definition in statistical mechanics, the contradictions between entropy increase and the fundamental theories of physics, the arrow of time, and Boltzmann′s brain. We end the paper with a discussion on the famous black hole entropy.
