DETECTION OF SOLAR AND SUPERNOVA NEUTRINOS

  • 摘要: 文章回顾了中微子天文学的诞生过程,着重介绍了2002年诺贝尔物理学奖获得者雷蒙特·戴维斯和小柴昌俊在观测太阳及超新星中微子方面的开创性贡献,扼要描述了这个领域的发展现状及前景,并简单探讨了历史给予人们的几点启发.

     

    Abstract: We review the birth of neutrino astronomy, with special emphasis on the pioneering contributions to the detection of solar and supernova neutrinos of the 2002 Nobel Prize winners, Raymond Davis Jr and Masatoshi Koshiba. We describe briefly the recent developments in this rapidly growing field as well as the prospects for the near future,and conclude with a few thoughts that come from reflecting over the history.
