Fundamentals and recent progress of mesoscopic Physics

  • 摘要: 低维和介观物理系统的研究是当前凝聚态理论的一个重要方向.文章将从回顾介观物理中的几个基本概念开始,就近年来在量子点、二维电子气和介观物理系统中的电子关联效应等几个方面的研究,简略地介绍介观物理的新发展和机遇.

     

    Abstract: Low dimensional and mesoscopic systems represent a major field of condensed matter physics. We first review some fundamental concepts and principles in mesoscopic physics, then describe recent progress in the study of quantum dots, two-dimensional gases, and electronic correlations in such systems. Some open questions are also pointed out.
