Iron-based superconductivity,then and now

  • 摘要: 高温超导机理被誉为凝聚态物理学前沿研究皇冠上的明珠,铁基超导的发现和研究极大地促进了人们对高温超导电性的理解。文章将简要回顾超导研究的历史和基本概念,介绍铜基高温超导研究的现状及困难,详述铁基超导的发现及其在高温超导研究中的关键桥梁作用,着重介绍中国科学家在铁基超导洪流中做出的重要贡献。

     

    Abstract: High temperature superconductivity is one of the unresolved problems at the cutting edge of condensed matter physics, stimulated greatly by the recent discovery and studies of iron-based superconductors. Here we briefly review the history and basic concepts of superconductivity,and the status of current research on copper-oxide high temperature superconductors. We will explain why iron-based superconductivity is so important as a key bridge between conventional and high temperature superconductivity, and remark, in particular, on the significant contributions from China.
