Progress in the fabrication of Bi-2212 wires

  • 摘要: Bi2Sr2CaCu2Ox(Bi-2212)是唯一可制备成各向同性圆线的高温超导材料。基于其优异的工程临界电流密度和简单成材技术,Bi-2212线材已经成功应用于多种高场磁体。文章简述了Bi-2212线材的粉末套管技术中前驱粉、加工和高压热处理的研究进展,介绍了国内外线材最新性能和应用进展,并分析了高性能线材制备的关键问题。

     

    Abstract: Bi2Sr2CaCu2Ox(Bi-2212) is the only high-temperature superconductor that can be made into isotropic round wires. Because of their excellent engineering critical current density and simple fabrication, Bi-2212 wires have been successfully applied in several kinds of high field magnets. The development of the powder in tube method, including precursor powder processing, deforming, and high pressure heat treatment, is briefly reviewed. The recent performance and applications of these wires are described, and the key issues in producing high-performance wires are discussed.
