Quantum randomness and the development of quantum random number generators

  • 摘要: 随机数是信息安全的基石。信息加密的安全性来源于随机数的不可预测性,高随机性的随机数发生器是密码学的重要需求。随机性作为随机数最重要的性质一直被广泛讨论与研究。文章介绍了随机性的基本特性、随机数发生器的发展历程、量子随机数发生器的量子优势及近年国内外在该领域的发展状况。

     

    Abstract: Random numbers are the cornerstone of information security. The security of information encryption stems from the unpredictability of random numbers, making high-entropy random number generators a crucial requirement in cryptography. Randomness, as the most vital property of random numbers, has been extensively studied and discussed. This paper introduces the fundamental characteristics of randomness, the historical development of random number generators, the quantum advantages of quantum random number generators, and recent domestic and international advances in this field.
